WATER - Dams & Dikes
Dams
Geomembranes
The geomembrane system is the most sustainable waterproof technology for dams: for all types of applications, the components are small in size, and light in weight. As installation is quick, the project will be completed in a shorter time.
Due to their flexibility and robustness, geomembranes, with only some millimeters thick, can replace the reinforced concrete surface, saving millions of cubic meters of materials and improving the sustainability of the entire project.
Geotextiles
Geotextiles have been used in water conservancy projects for some time. It also has an anti-friction function under different movements.
Moreover, it can separate from the geomembrane layer to avoid possible damage to the water barrier when the stress is very high. It is cheap and easy to install.
Dikes
Geosynthetic Clay Liners (GCLs)
GCLs can provide a durable and uniform polyethylene coating on the material’s woven side, creating an additional low permeability barrier for exceptional waterproofing.
In addition, GCL is used to provide storage security in these facilities to improve operational efficiency.
Geogrids
Geogrids can reinforce the earth’s structure strengthens. They are used at the bottom of the embankment for foundation reinforcement.
Furthermore, their reinforcement and stabilization make it possible to offer economical and lightweight solutions.
Geocells
Geocells can increase stability. They are able to bear heavy loads without damage.
So, they extend the life of the pavement and reduce the need for maintenance.
